Consists of a straight rod placed in thespace formed in bet ween twoperpendicular planes representing astraight line standing in-between H.P. andV.P. This rod is placed inclined to M.P. AndV.P. and also hinged to both planes by thin rods. The linesconnecting the hinges represent plan and elevation of thestraight line. Also the main rod made of two unit can be madeto tilt about hinges and to rest on H.P. and V.P. to illustrate themethod of finding true length of a line by suitableconstruction either on H.P. or V.P. Suitable hinges areprovided between H.P. or V.P. so that it can be folded and willbe found to be quite compact for use in a class room
