DESCRIPTION:

HoverLabs Portable Hardness Tester is simple in operation as it can be manually operated. The tester supplied by Hover labs is fast and accurate as we assure the quality check on each product we offer to our clients. It is compact, lightweight and portable.  It displays directly in Rockwell C scale.

APPLICATION:

• Minimum surface layer thickness: 0.7 mm

• Minimum test radius R = 30 mm (1.18 in.)  Of surface curvature:

• Ideal for consultants, machinists, quality and production personnel with periodic requirements for quick and easy hardness measurements in HRC

• Parts weighing less than 5 kg (11 lbs.) with thin walls must be set on a solid support to prevent vibrations

• Parts weighing less than 2 kg (4.5 lbs.) must be coupled to a solid support using coupling paste

• Steel and cast steel, cold work tool steel, stainless steel and high temperature resistant steel.
