Most of the snacks and food items are packaged in plastic bags and films. These food items are packaged along with a large amount of air in it. This air is filled to keep the food items fresh and healthy. The air filled inside the packaging bag increases the size of the bag. The manufacturers need to measure the amount of bulge that is experienced by the packaging bag after filling the air. This measurement helps in determining what amount of space it will take during transit.
