DESCRIPTION:

It works on the Rockwell Principle for load measurement. It provides accurate, rapid, and reproduceable results from measurement of penetration depth sustained to defined forces. It has special features like it does measurements independent of material, independence of sample’s dimensions and geometry. Measures from one side, no backing necessary. It possesses excellent sensitivity, and is sensitive for small penetration of a few µm.It is used widely in Engineering disciplines like petroleum, Mechanical and civil Engineering including research areas.
